    "Shaw Building & Design, Inc. built a home for us and we moved into it in June of 2004.  I work for a company that does research  and another research scientist here is cooperating on a research project that is studying energy efficiencies in housing.  So I volunteered my new house to be part of the study.  They came and measured how air tight my house was.  This involved putting a special frame containing a large fan, in an exterior door and sucking the air from the house.  They then measure the pressure loss and air coming in from other places in the house. 
    Our house was rated at 1.6 air changes per hour.  The best they have measured is 1.5, and the worst is 12 air changes per hour.  So you guys built me a very "tight" house. "
