Why build a log home with Shaw Building & Design, Inc.?

	We welcome custom log designs.
	We use only graded, hand crafted logs from British Columbia.
	Full length spruce or lodge pole pine logs are used between 12 inches and 16 inches in diameter. Cedar logs are also available.
	We use a wedge notch in the corners to provide an extremely tight, draft free, and waterproof corner.
	Logs are hand peeled and scribed to fit the log below.
	Logs are natural insulators and provide customers with the rustic look that is so popular.
